When writing this I will take into consideration that this is a dedication because when you look at it from that perspective everything blends in better.
For example, this explains the model's smile because it appears to be more like a giggle. Her hand to her mouth denotes intimacy and secrecy but most all it gives the viewer a hit of the interior torment and burden of the model... clearly observed in the uneven nail polish that she applied. It looks dis-gracious but still she giggles. Why not love the paradox?
The major problem is that this is not something original even though it looks interesting it has been done before, maybe an experiment with a different angle would help. The hair that falls like a border to the picture is in a hate/love relationship in the eyes of viewers. One either adores it's blackness or thinks it's just too much. Personally, I tend to like it, however I do think that some areas are simply too dark and I would have liked to see the model's eyes a bit better, uncover their mystery.

All in all, it is a photograph that went to my favourites and it does deserve a few minutes of a deviant's time for observation.
